Is
everything needed, included in the HWSS package?
No.To
complete the assembly of the HWSS frame, 200' of string
will be needed to form the web. To install the HWSS,
you must provide a method of suspending the HWSS above
the garden from the built in suspension tabs. Typical
methods include using 1' tenso chain secured to the
ceiling or walls above the garden. To calculate the
length of chain required measure the distance from
the ceiling or chain secure point to the lowest level
the web will be suspended to. Of course you will need
four pieces of chain so multiply by four.
The
instructions refer to letters on the pieces. What
letter is for each piece?
Each
piece is shipped with a sticker on the bottom indicating
either A, B, or C. If the sticker has been removed
then refer to this diagram.
One
of the tabs is not open. Is it suppose to be closed?
It has been noted that on rare occasion a tab on
a support piece has been pushed closed during shipping.
To fix this simply use a flat screwdriver to pry the
tab back to its original position.
How
long does it take to install the HWSS
Installation times have ranged depending on the installation
setting. Generally time should be less than fifteen
minutes to assemble and install.
Up
to what stage of a plants growth cycle can the HWSS
be installed ?
Ideally the HWSS should be installed during the early
stages of vegetation to achieve the most meristematic
growth benefits, but most benefits can be achieved
while installing the system before entering the fruit
production. Meristematic benefits of the system diminish
as installation exceeds past fruit production but
support benefits will still be realized.
