The
Benefits
Modern
hydroponic gardening practices continue to provide many
benefits to gardeners. Advancements in fertilizers,
high intensity lights, growing mediums and environment
controls have undeniably improved the hydroponic garden,
resulting in larger yields. However, these non-natural
growth aids overwhelm the natural support system of
plants, causing them to fall over and break.
This fundamental problem has plagued gardeners for years
and the negative effects can range from the inconvenience
of an increased level of maintenance to financial and
emotional stress with the loss of the garden.
Methods
attempting to rectify this problem, such as support
sticks and string, proved ineffective, inefficient adn
inconenient. Shortly after tying one branch, several
more branches need attention. It is impossible to safely
attend some plants in need of support. Gardens with
limited accessibility incur risk and damage when accessing
or adding support. Clearly, preventative measures are
needed to eliminate the time consuming and sometimes
damaging chore of supporting the plants.
We
are very excited to announce a new way to support your
garden that will reduce your maintenance time and the
risk of damge to delicate plants. By providing a consistent
source of support at higher levels of a plant's growth,
our test gardens showed the elimination of plant destabilization.
